What is a Thin Client?

A thin client is essentially a simplified endpoint device that connects to a centralized server or virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI). Most of the data processing occurs on the server, while the thin client handles input/output operations such as displaying images and capturing user inputs. This architecture allows organizations to manage computing resources more efficiently and maintain greater control over their IT environments.
